[For adults]  "Grow your 2026 Culinary Garden" is a 4-part series created to help participants design and dream their way into a new gardening season.

Session 3: Growing Roots & Fruit for the Kitchen

In this session, we dive deeper into growing two categories of crops which require more care and attention. Attendees will learn that root crops are best grown when directly sown from seed in the garden, as well as how to know when they are ready for harvest. Attendees will also learn about fruiting crops like tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers which have their own unique set of requirements for growing. We will cover topics for several crops such as light and nutrient needs, tending, and harvesting.

Registration is required.
