[For ages 0-5] This fun participatory storytime for the whole family includes songs, fingerplays, stories and movement activities. Early literacy activities are emphasized. No registration is required.

[For adults] Do you need help heating your home? Come find out if you are eligible for Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) benefits. If you qualify, you may receive one regular HEAP benefit per program year.

[For adults, 50+] Join us in the RCS Community Library for this series of gentle chair yoga classes. January and February series. Registration is required.

[For adults]  "Grow your 2026 Culinary Garden" is a 4-part series created to help participants design and dream their way into a new gardening season. 

Session 3: Growing Roots & Fruit for the Kitchen

Writers of all types and levels are invited to bring their notebooks, laptops, or other writing implements and join us for an evening of writing together.

[For teens & adults] Need a gift for someone, or just want to get crafty? Make a decorative jar to organize/store your small treasures OR design a fancy votive for a tea light.

[For adults] Resident needle felting expert Donna Hamilton will demonstrate how to make some eggs as well as other “signs of spring”. Whether you're a beginner or have some needle felting experience, come spend some time with fellow crafters.

[For ages 5-12] In honor of the Winter Olympics, we will be conducting a simple science experiment to simulate a hockey puck on ice.

The Friends of the RCS Community Library meets monthly to discuss ways to advocate and support the Library and its services. New members are always welcome!
