Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell is a historical novel that reimagines the life and death of Hamnet Shakespeare, the young son of William Shakespeare who died in 1596. The story centers less on Shakespeare himself and more on his wife, Agnes, a woman deeply connected to nature, intuition, and healing.
