Prose fiction writers of all types and levels are invited to bring their notebooks, laptops, or other writing implements and join us for an evening of writing together.

Chair Yoga: September and October Series 

[For adults, 50+] Join us in the RCS Community Library for this series of gentle chair yoga classes. Registration is required. Registration is for the entire series:

[For ages 0-8 and their caregivers] This month, for Saturday Fun for Families, we will meet firefighters from the Ravena Fire Dept. Kids will learn about fire safety, see what gear firefighters wear, and even take a look at the fire truck!

Unwind at an informal gathering with fellow yarn crafters to work on your projects, ask questions, get inspired, and just enjoy crafting in a group. Bring your own supplies, all skill levels are welcome!

The RCS Community Library Board of Trustees Building and Grounds Committee will meet to discuss the creation of a Facilities Plan and ongoing building issues. 

All Committee Meetings are open to the public. 

[For ages 0-5] The Ravena Fire Dept. will be visiting Romp and Read for our annual Fire Prevention Week storytime! Firefighters will join in the fun, assisting with a story, putting on their firefighting attire, and bringing along a fire truck!

[For adults] Resident needle felting expert Donna Hamilton will demonstrate how to make some adorable, autumnal felted pumpkins. Whether you're a beginner or have some needle felting experience, spend some time with fellow crafters!

[For tweens and teens] Can you taste the difference between store-brand and name-brand snacks? Come to the library for a blind taste test of cookies, crackers, and chips, and see how sensitive your taste buds are.
