Recycle Your School Supplies

Cleaning out the backpacks and lockers at the end of the school year? Don’t throw away all those broken pencils, dried-up highlighters and markers, and beat-up old lunch bags. Lots of school supplies that have reached the end of their useful life can actually be recycled! Check out this list to see what we’ll be collecting here at the library:

• Backpacks & lunch bags
• Crayons & colored pencils
• Pencils & pencil pouches
• Pens, markers & highlighters
• Binders & zipper binders
• Ear buds & headphones
• Calculators
• Rulers

Bring any of these items to the library from June 9 to June 27 and we’ll recycle them. Join us as we work together to make our community more sustainable!
