Touch a snake! Pet a tortoise! Learn how these creatures live, what to do if you meet one in the wild, and more. Presented by the educators from Reptile Adventure.

Unwind at an informal gathering with fellow yarn crafters to work on your projects, ask questions, get inspired, and just enjoy crafting in a group. Bring your own supplies, all skill levels are welcome!

Chair Yoga: July and August Series 

[For adults, 50+] Join us in the RCS Community Library for this series of gentle chair yoga classes. Registration is required. 

Series dates: 

July 11

[Ages 5-12] Make and test stomp rockets at the Library! See how high you can send them and how much force you need to launch them. Registration required. 

[For ages 5 to 99] Bring a prewashed article of cotton clothing; shirts and socks work best. We will supply the dye and the fun. We will have a limited supply of bandanas and small tote bags if needed. Wear old clothes as dye can splatter.

This program is for adults. Books are available at the Library and new members are always welcome. No registration is required.

Prose fiction writers of all types and levels are invited to bring their notebooks, laptops, or other writing implements and join us for an evening of writing together.
